With interactive sessions, practical exercises, and tailored feedback, you’ll develop confidence and impact in sharing your work. 

Registrations for the course will open on 8 January.

Scientific Award

The Nokia Bell Scientific Award rewards the PhD thesis that brings the most original contribution in the field of information and technologies. The prize of € 8000 is intended for an individual researcher who has defended a PhD thesis between 1 January and 31 December 2024 at a Belgian university.

Application deadline: 17 March 2025.

What is neurodiversity?

What challenges are associated with it and how does it affect the university context? During this lunch & learn on 13 February (12-2 p.m.), you will gain insight into relevant terms and the role of colleagues, lecturers and supervisors in achieving a more inclusive environment together. Practical examples and tips will show how we can take steps forward in this.

During this lecture, experienced science communicator Julie De Smedt shares valuable insights and examples on effective communication, and practical tips for researchers to really connect with their audience.

The lecture is free, will be held in Dutch, and takes place on Tuesday 11 February from 12-2 p.m. at Stadscampus or Wednesday 12 February from 12-2 p.m. at Campus Drie Eiken.
